Keep dense demolition material identifiable
Describe concrete, tile, soil, roofing, or other heavy debris separately from furniture and packaging. Ask how the proposed container should be loaded and what material restrictions apply. Do not assume a large container can be filled to the same level with every material. Identify batteries, liquids, refrigerant appliances, and suspect building materials before work starts so excluded items have another handling plan.
Review the approach when site conditions change
Describe whether the truck must cross gravel, an unfinished yard, or a shared driveway. Ask the provider to review the expected condition at pickup as well as delivery. Reserve turning and working room through the project, including space that might otherwise become snow storage. If the surface softens or equipment blocks the approach, arrange a revised collection plan before the container is needed elsewhere.
Compare disposal and access terms together
Request the accepted debris, included weight, rental days, delivery, and final collection. Ask how separate dense loads and exchanges would be priced. Clarify consequences of inaccessible pickup, extra time, or materials that differ from the description used for the quote.
